My musical exploration was kickstarted by those above, Childish Gambino (Donald Glover), Kygo (Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll), Ludovico Einaudi, and Queen. Each of them led me to their respective genres, all of which I've come to love. Kygo introduced me to tropical house, where I branched out into relaxing electrical pop music, Childish Gambino introduced me to rap and hip hop, where I started to explore the other artists in the genre and develop my own favorites. Queen was the first band that I started to follow and listen to all of their albums. While Queen was part of the music that I was introduced to purely from my parents, they still remain as a favorite and are the reason I love classic rock. Ludovico Einaudi's music helped me find my favorite style of piano music, calm, clean, and melodic modern pieces. All of my musical tastes have since evolved, but these still remain as the cornerstones of my musical tastes. While it certainly crosses a wide range of music, I feel each one represents an aspect of music for me. I listen to music for relaxation, to get amped up, and because its fun, and all four of these genres specialize in one of those aspects, but are not contained by them.
